Accommodations:
We have reserved a block of 15 rooms at the TownPlace Suites hotel near the Health Science Center for a special UTHSCSA rate. Room rates are $85 + tax. To reserve a room at this reduced rate, please mention the UTHSCSA UltraScan Workshop and make your reservation before May 1st! The hotel offers a buffet breakfast daily and a social/light dinner from 5:30 - 7:00 Monday through Thursday. Each room also has a kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, and stove top with dishes, pans, and cutlery; no oven). The hotel will provide a shuttle service to and from the workshop at the beginning and at the end of the UltraScan workshop each day.
Note to visitors from a Texas Institution: Please bring your tax exempt card to waive state taxes to be charged on the room

Transportation:
Transportation from the hotel to and from the workshop will be provided before the workshop and after the workshop. We will also provide transportation from the airport to the hotel and back, if requested. If you wish for us to pick you up from the airport, please send us your flight information in advance and notify us in case of any schedule changes.
Parking:
The workshop will take place at the University of Texas Health Science Center in the Medical Center area of San Antonio There are a limited number of visitor parking spaces to the right when you enter the main campus from the Floyd Curl entrance. A map is available. Contact Virgil Schirf for questions regarding parking fees. If you require airport transportation please make arrangmements with our staff.
